About Us
Tiny Wilds was set up by Lily and Leo Lawson-O’Neil, the founders of Beden, and is run by Lily and Abi under the umbrella of the Lilah’s Wood, a registered charity operating in Devon.
Lilah’s Wood was set up in memory of Lily and Saskia’s sister Lilah Fraser, to educate children about taking care of our natural world, through nurturing a love and respect for nature in them.
Tiny Wilds is located at Beden, a beautiful, private wooded valley on the edge of Dartmoor. The extraordinary nature accessible to Tiny Wilds is hard to find anywhere in the UK, and our children have access to ancient forest, SSSI lands, open moorland, a boulder-strewn river, bluebell meadows, and organically farmed animals. Beden is also home to some of Britain’s rarest beetles, algae, flora and fauna.
Over the years, the team has grown to include a wonderful group of individuals, each with unique and creative skills to share with the children and eachother. You can learn more about our team members and teachers here.
