Waiting List & Enrolment Fees

Tiny Wilds operates a short waiting list with priority given to siblings. In order to reduce administration time and to help speed up the process of confirming places, there is a £20 fee to join our waiting list. Once our team has added your child to the waiting list, please make payment with 10 working days. When your child starts at one of our settings the £20 fee will be deducted from your first invoice. If you notify us that you no longer wish your child to be on our waiting list, or that your child is attending school, or another setting instead, will will happily refund your fee.

In order to apply for your child’s funding on our side, and to complete the onboarding administration, there is a £45 enrolment fee with a free Tiny Wilds hoodie (subject to availability).

Government Funding for 2, 3 & 4 Year Olds

Tiny Wilds is registered with Devon County Council to offer the EYF (Early Years Funding for working parents) to 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds. This is currently set at 15 hours for 2 year olds and 30 hours for 3 & 4 year olds. From September 2025, all children from 9 months of age can apply for 30 hours funding.

For more information and how to apply, please see the Government Childcare website: https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs

If your child is due to start Tiny Wilds, please apply at least 3 months in advance to ensure you receive your funding code in good time. The process can take up to 10 weeks and you will need to provide the code to us.

Tiny Wilds is also registered for Tax Free Childcare. For every £8 spent on childcare, paid from your TFC account, the government will add an additional £2, up to £500 every 3 months. This can be used to pay for any additional costs outside of Funded Hours.

Please visit the Government’s website for full details and how to apply: https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare

Outdoor Provision Fund

As per government and Devon County Council guidelines Tiny Wilds is permitted to charge for additional services that are beyond the standard nursery provision. This is a voluntary but highly encouraged Outdoor Provision Fund payment which enables us to provide a high staff to child ratio, carry out forest school/outdoor training with staff as well as contribute to a wide variety of resources that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to offer. This includes things like healthier and organic baking ingredients e.g. coconut sugar, dairy free milks and high quality eco art materials and resources.
