Teeny Tiny Wilds (Nursery and Pre-school 2-4 years)

Teeny Tiny Wilds is our nursery and pre-school setting which offers funded and unfunded places for 2 to 4 year olds.

We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30 - 3:30pm during term time only.

Ideally children would attend all 3 days and we find they love it so much, they would want to come even more if they could!

Tiny Wilds is run by our qualified Primary and Early Years Practitioner, who is also our Tiny Wilds Manager for all our settings along with two teaching assistants called Mike and Laurel.

Tiny Wilds is located in our beautiful yurt in the centre of our nature garden; a bright, open space with large windows looking out onto the Dartmoor Tors. There is a wood burning stove for colder winter days and an outside sink and washing station. The space is rotated every term and has a wooden play kitchen, dressing up rail, craft table and much more.

At Tiny Wilds we go by “stage not age” so when children are ready to move up to Mini Mighty Wilds, we have lots of discussion with parents and offer a transition period where they can go between both settings.

Teeny Tiny Wilds is best suited for those children who we hope will eventually move into flexi-schooling or our group home education Mini Mighty Wilds.
